Week of September 6-12

Why the world is going to hell this week:
1. Vladimir Putin and Hugo Chavez completed an arms deal. Russia is giving Venezuela weapons and fighter jets. There goes the spheres of influence!
2. Putin is supporting Iran. If someone (e.g. the United States) attacks Iran, Russia will back them. So, basically, the US hates Iran and so Russia supports Iran. Cold War anyone?
3. A plane in Mexico is hijacked, but with no bombs on board, and after the plane had landed from it's trip from Cancun to Mexico City. Some hijacker he was!
4. Russia is mad at Georgia, again. I wonder what the false flag will be for another invasion of Georgia.
5. Afghanistan could erupt into the same violence that Iran has over election fraud. What could another revolt do the Middle East?
6. South Korea is blaming North Korea for a flood, in which dam water was released, causing a flash flood that killed 3 South Koreans.
7. The treaties limiting nuclear arms with Russia are expiring. Ready... Set... Proliferate!
8. Although IRA factions had promised to disarm, 3 bombs exploded in Derry, N. Ireland, in a Catholic neighborhood. The bombs were meant for the family of a Catholic police officer.
9. Russia is suspected of carrying an air-defense system to Iran on the ship that "disappeared" a few weeks ago. Israelis claim to have found the system, Russians claim the only cargo was timber.
10. The president told students how important their education is. I mean, come on! How dare he tell students that their education is important! The Arlington, TX school district prohibited teachers from showing the speech as to not disrupt regularly scheduled lessons, however the students are going to see former President Bush speak at Cowboy's Stadium during a school day.
